The current model of man as an isolated economic unit does not fit with anything we actually are. It asks of us to work and relate to other people in ways that are stressful and unfulfilling. It misses much.
Honjaku is a Zen word meaning the primal silence; the place from where we can be witnesses to our own lives.
On this site you will find commentary taking a deeper look at who we actually are. As the house spiritual bartender Honjaku is your interpreter of symbols, helping you understand why things are messed up. They always are and you probably can’t do anything about it but its good to know why anyway.
